About This Collection...
I have worked for many years as a filmmaker and creative professional. I have successfully delivered video and creative properties for numerous clients and brands. In my work as a producer, I am involved in the entire process of media creation, from the concept / idea phase through pre-production, production, post-production and delivery into the marketplace. I am an experienced writer, director, editor, performer and just about every other position you can possibly imagine in the process of media production. Mastery of the craft is only attained through practice. It happens in the doing.
I have advanced skills and experience as a video editor, and I have a special interest in this area -- the editing is the "end of the line", the final coalescence of story into fixed form, the sweetening of sound and color, the last chance to polish and fix mistakes, the final squeeze to go from "good" to "great". I was the lead and final editor on all of the projects in this collection.
By its very nature, film / video / multimedia creation typically involves the collaborative efforts of many people. Indeed, this to the benefit of the media. When things go right, the input of all the creatives who work on a project add up to a total value greater than the sum of the parts. My job as a producer is to help make sure that process "goes right."
The videos in this collection represent works where I was a lead creative force, as producer, director, writer and/or editor. As you can see from the videos below, I am very fortunate to have collaborated with many talented and dedicated people -- this collection is dedicated to them.
